It started with Alberta Meats

B&C Foods was started in 1988 by four founding partners who took over the assets of a small local supplier called Alberta Meats that had gone out of business. B&C moved into a new custom built facility at its current location on Butler Cresent in Saanichton in 1994. Since then, the building has tripled in size to 34 000 square feet of offices, coolers, freezers, and dry storage.

B&C is somewhat unique in that it supplies both retail (grocery stores) and food service accounts (hotels, pubs, restaurants, institutions). That versatility provides a variety of opportunities to remain a key competitor in the market.

B&C was excited to join the superior team of Centennial Foodservice in the summer of 2008. This gave our customers access to an extended product line as well as access to exclusive products. B&C has always been known for offering quality products at reasonable prices with superior service. We owe our continued success to the loyalty of our customers and our incredible staff.
